Day 52 ... Things I Love (mail)
Good old fashioned paper mail in an envelope with a stamp pasted on. I also like email but it's just not the same as being able to pluck it out of your mailbox, rip open the envelope and read what's inside. (Unless it's a bill, of course).
My elderly neighbor stopped by as I was kneeling in front of my mailbox (trying to get the focus to fall on my face rather than the side of the mailbox) to see if I needed any help. LOL. They think I'm nuts. I tried my best to explain what I was doing but I don't think he quite "got" it.

Love it! You and I have a lot in common. I don't let my husband get the mail because I love it so much. Even if it is a bill, I still love mail.

I am always watching for the mail too! I love this shot. I am assuming you put the camera in the box on a self timer? I had to laugh about the neighbor comment...I have two neighbors who look at me like I am crazy! I like the outside light though, and do what I have to do for these one a day shots. I'm learning a LOT with this project. I think you are already there, but appreciate that you are doing this. I love your blog.

Here is my ? for you ... do you feel odd carrying your camera EVERYWHERE? I don't do it as much as I would like, but sometimes I feel self conscious. I shouldn't because it is what I like to do. NEED to just abandon those thoughts. I was just wondering what you felt about it. Perhaps a blogging topic for you ;)
