Welcome!

My name is Wendy and I am slightly obsessed with all things photography. My goal for 2010 is to take a photo a day and post it here, on this blog. At the end of the year, I should have a pretty good idea what 2010 looked like. Let's hope 2010 looks better than 2009.

Day 37

37

I love good neighbors. We came home this morning, after flying the red-eye, to a fridge full of food and dinner and dessert for this evening. We really do have the best neighbor ever!

You really do have the sweetest neighbor ever. What a wonderful gesture to remember when someone goes out of town!

That is so incredibly sweet! And that looks close to the same granite sample that I picked as my favorite! haha Funny how we notice it all.

What a sweet neighbor. In Michigan when we would come home after 3 weeks, Peggy (next door neighbor) would do the same for us. How nice to have something for breakfast the day after a long trip. I am glad this same thing is happening to you too!

I didn't know how to comment back where you would see it (on my photo), so here I am ;) I don't think that first pic of D's started as anything spectacular. Just a solid hideous yellow wall---still deciding what color to paint over it. She was between 2 windows and light was pouring in b/w them and bouncing off the wall across from her (gives her pinlights, but what do ya do). I ran florabella's champagne B&W on it and it became something totally different. I think it really blew alot of the photo, but I kinda liked it! I brought back some detail in her shirt and window frame. I also put the french canvas texture on both. Which blew it even more, but I recovered most of that & decreased the opacity. And I posted pics of the kids for critique on CM's. Check out the bomb out on Ben's. And I just posted the final card on flickr if you want to check it out! Hope you are nice and relaxed from your vaca! I would love to do winter beach vacations when the kids get older!
